     Our team designs, builds, tests, and races a formula style racecar each year for the Formula SAE event in Romeo, MI. We are joined by 140 teams from all around the world to compete for the FSAE series championship. The event requires teams to not only demonstrate a top-performing racing machine on the track, but also to demonstrate their working knowledge in engineering and marketing through a series of presentation events. Our 2006-2007 race car featured an E-85 burning engine for the fourth year in a row, and we will continue this tradition in the 2007-2008 season.

     If you are wondering why we do this, the answer is simple. We have fun! As future engineers and other professionals in this world, we appreciate the extra effort to learn about new, cutting-edge technologies that deal with the design, manufacturing, and testing of a racecar. We do not receive credit and usually find ourselves spending more time on the car than in the classroom. The experiences and friends gained through such a team are invaluable to our futures.
